Most assistants hand back a plan; Manus goes and does it. Give it a research question and it opens a browser, reads sources, writes code if it needs to, and returns a finished document, all inside its own sandbox, while you do something else. That shift from advice to deliverable is the whole point, and when a task runs long it is genuinely the difference between an afternoon and a coffee break. The catch is the credit meter: complex runs burn through an allowance fast, and because you were not watching, you have to review the output properly before trusting it.
